Features:Six chapters devoted to the basic foundations of electrocardiography; anatomy, electrophysiology, and determining electrical axis. Remaining chapters discuss important topics including conduction defects, tachycardias, acute coronary syndromes, and cardiac pacemakers. The excellent schematic diagrams make the concepts much easier to understand. Detailed explanations of the important take-home points on the electrocardiograms used as examples are provided, with good illustration and annotations to clarify.
Assessment:This is a well done book on a difficult topic. The writing style makes it an easy read. In addition, there are many nicely annotated illustrations. This is a useful addition to the library of anyone wishing to gain a better understanding of electrocardiography.
