In dealing with me, she has become expert in juggling snakes. Rather than tell her the truth - 'I don't want to do another book. NO!' - I said, 'Great idea! Let's look at that.' Then I left the country. Eventually she ground me down to dates and contracts. I ground her up to a bigger percentage, and more up-front than any dyslexic author has ever seen.
