“Excuse me sir. We have now landed, can you please alight the plane?” He lifts his eye mask to look at me, with a hiccup. The smell of whiskey strong on his breath. “Can I finish my nap first, Miss?” He begins pulling his mask back down, and I take a breath so I don’t lose my shit at this stranger. “I wish I could Sir, but the cleaning crew need to prepare the plane for its next flight.” I smile politely at him. I quickly look over my shoulder at Carla. The plane seems to be nearly, and I really need Whiskey Man to leave. He grumbles under his breath, as he attempts to return to sleep. “Carla, can you please call security. Our friend doesn’t want to leave.” I ensure to keep my voice light, and sweet, and Carla nods at me quickly. “Look, I’ve been on a really long flight that I paid a lot of money for. Surely you can let me sleep for five minutes.” I continue to plaster a fake smile on my face. However, I can feel my eye is beginning to twitch, and I really don’t want to snap at Whiskey Man. “I understand how you feel, Sir, but I really must insist.” Thankfully, security has now turned up, and I can stop smiling at this douche canoe. He continues to carry on, and scream, and shout about calling his lawyers, and Carla just laughs.
