For More Mischief, Call Loki

So the story goes (oh, and this is for the official record apparently) something a little like this:Frigga, wife of Odin the All-Father, loved her youngest son best and most of all. Of course, who couldn’t love Baulder the Beautiful. He radiated joy, beauty, and goodness everywhere he went (sickening, isn’t it?). Not wanting anything to happen to her beloved child, Frigga went out to every being in the realms and asked it to pledge an oath to her vowing never to hurt Baulder. Every being of the realms swore to never injure Baulder.All except one... (and isn’t that always the case?) the mistletoe. This is the fifth novella in The Loki Adventures series. This time, Loki must die. Loki, Norse god of mischief, knows death draws near. His returned son, Fenrir, likely delivers Loki’s demise. No matter how far he runs, dying by hellhound looms in Loki’s fate. He takes refuge in the safest place he thinks of: the library. Surrounded by all the knowledge of humanity and Midgard, Loki searches for a solution to save the day. The end comes. Hel awaits.
